North Carolina MENTOR takes an active role in community and state partnerships with other agencies to improve overall access and quality of services to North Carolina's citizens in need. Following are links to information on many of those other agencies:
The North Carolina Community Support Providers' Council: North Carolina MENTOR is an Executive Member of this association of private providers in the state.
The Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services: This state agency oversees all public services for these populations.
North Carolina Division of Social Services: This state agency administers child welfare and foster care services.
North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services: This is an umbrella state agency that administers all Medicaid, MHDDSAS and Social Services programs in the state.
The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) is the national accrediting body from which North Carolina MENTOR has received a 3-year accreditation.
